Handwoven wool recreation of Alexander in Darius tent. After the battle of Issus, Alexander visited the family of Darius, his defeated opponent, and generously granted them life and liberty. Brussels, workshop of Marcus de Vos, after Charles Le Brun, 1687-1689.
Hand-woven from natural wool and cotton by the artisans of China. Measures: 102 x 106 inches
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Due to possible fading or running, do not scrub any liquid spills. Simply absorb moisture by blotting it with paper towels. Never scrub!
- Similarly, do not wet any dried spots. Rather, remove dried spots by scraping carefully towards the center of the soiled area.
