16th Century Flemish Wall Tapestry Recreation Large Leaf Verdure 6.0×7.11 – RenID 10003

Handwoven wool recreation of Large Leaf Verdure. Verdures of large leaves with birds appearing among them were a very popular type of textile decoration woven in several Flemish tapestries. The original panel was from Enghien, workshop of Claes de Dobbeleer, third quarter of the 16th century.

Hand-woven from natural wool and cotton by the artisans of China.  Measures: 72 x 95 inches

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Due to possible fading or running, do not scrub any liquid spills.  Simply absorb moisture by blotting it with paper towels. Never scrub!
• Similarly, do not wet any dried spots.  Rather, remove dried spots by scraping carefully towards the center of the soiled area.
